UNDER 12s

U12 Programme (Born 2014 or Later)

Our U12 Programme is the beginning and introduction to the wonderful world of water polo at Hawkes Bay Water Polo. It is for players mainly in Years 7 and 6, except for some Year 5 and Year 8 layers (depending on birth date). 

We offer a range of teams for all different abilities and experiences.

U12 Information 2026​​​​ 

Training time: 5 - 6 pm Fridays. 

Please see details on the U12 information booklet to the right. 

A re-trial for Under 12 teams may be held during Term 2 OR 3 to reassess team compositions. Please note that this re-trial is subject to confirmation and may not take place. Further details will be provided closer to the date if the re-trial proceeds.​​​​​​​

Fees for the 2026 season

  • Trial Fee: A $20 trial fee is required upon registration 

  • Club registration fees: $450 + $25 Registration/Admin Fee

  • NZWP Fee: Players must also register through New Zealand Water Polo (NZWP), with an additional fee payable before competing. $35.

  • Tournament Costs: Average from $180 to $250, depending on the entry fee. 

Uniform Sales

Once selected into the squad, information will be released on how squad members are to place their order for uniforms. We bulk order uniforms from overseas, so players and parents will be required to attend this evening to try on and order the kit for the season. 

Players must have the club togs and uniform to play in any tournaments.
